Andrei Gennadievich Antonov was born in 1944 year in Sverdlovsk. In 1964  he finished Sverdlovsk  art college, and in 1973 year -   Moscow Highest  Art-industrial college (former Stroganovskoie ). From 1971 he has taken part in city, regional, zonal, republican and  international exhibitions. He has been a member of Artists' Union of Russia from 1975 year. He is an author of monuments and monumental works standing in  Ekaterinburg, Severouralsk, Petropavlovsk. In 1996 he was awarded Mosin's premium. His works are gathered in museumes and in private collections of Ekaterinburg, Barnaul, Nizhni Tagil, Perm,  Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Checkoslovakia, Austria, USA and Israel.
