Aleksandr Alexeevich Alexeev-Svinkin was born
in 1952 in Cheliabinsk city. In 1971 he finished Sverdlovsk art college. He
often takes part in city, regional, zonal, republican and international
exhibitions. He has been a member of Artists' Union of Russia from 1978 year. American
biographic institute has awarded him a title - "Man of the Year". Biograhpic
reference book "Who is Who in the World?" (1998) determines him as a founder of
new "Fairy-tale Realism" style. His works are gathered in museumes of
Ekaterinburg, Perm, Nizhni Tagil, Irbit, Krasnoyarsk, and in private collections of Russia
and abroad.
