Yuri Nikolaevich Filonenko was born in 1947 in Lugansk
town. In 1974 he graduated from Ukrainian Polygraphic institute named after Fiodorov. From
1974 he has been living and working in Ekaterinburg. From 1975 he has been a participant
of city, regional, zonal, republican and international exhibitions. A member of
Artists' Union of Russia from 1977 year. Prefers book graphics and painting.
